Double-Bass 5 strings inspired by a model of Leonard Ch.Gottfried ,1789.

Top is in spruce ( origin Alpes).
Arched back, sides and neck are in mapple (Origin Balkans). The fingerboard and the hollow tailpiece are in ebony
Machine Head from Rubner.
Endpin in ebony and brass with a steel notched rod.
Set-up: Despiau Bridge, strings Thomastik Spirocore.
Sonority warm and powerfull.

DOUBLE-BASS 3/4 made by Brucken in MarneuKirchen Germany at the end of the 19th . Remains of signature are visible on the inside.

Restored at the workshop.
Top is in spruce , the neck, the back and the sides are in a wonderful flamed maple!
Set up : Despiau Bridge, Endpin in ebony with a steel notched rod.
Magnifique sonority, round and powerfull , very nice projection!

Nice Double-bass made in Jerome Thibouville Lamy worshop in Mirecourt France at the beginning of the 20 th century.

The top is in spruce, the flat back , the sides and the neck are in mapple. The fingerboard and the tailpiece are in ebony.
Set-up: Despiau bridge, Thomastik Spirocore strings, endpin in ebony and brass with a notched steel rod.
Nice tone well balanced.

Set up: split soundpost, Despaiu bridge, Thomastik Spirocore strings.
